Lou is a graduate of PA Gunsmith School, graduated with honors from Marshal University with degree in Applied Science, Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI) with a degree in Machine Tool Technology. He is also a nationally certified machinist through the National Institute for Metal Working Skills (NIMS). Lou has also worked as a gunsmith for the competitive Army Shooting Team, the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) at Ft. Benning, GA.

Lou is joining the team at Blackheart International as the primary gunsmith in the firearms manufacturing division of Blackheart.
